Mrs. Nasmith's Class!

Hello, my name is Nick I will be student newsletter for the week. First off on April 8th Wednesday and 9th Thursday we had a visitor come and taught us about needs and wants. On April 23rd Thursday we are having hot dog day. Also on April 29th Wednesday we are having photo day, I hope we al dress nice on photo day. Easter weekend has just pasted I hope you all had a good easter weekend. I hope you guys will have a good weekend. 

Welcome back from Spring Break! Last Monday we did the same thing - the Monday meeting and we are also doing speeches. My speech is about the polar bears. I am so excited to learn and research about the animal.

Today there was so many activities going on. On PE we did our badminton. It was so much fun. We got to play king's corners because there are three groups one group sits on the bench while the other two plays badminton. The winner gets to play again while the loser and the group on the bench goes and plays. Aside from badminton we also skyped with the fire fighter who has a dalmation the fire fighter told us about fire safety and she showed us a trick that her dalmation can do. Molly, the dalmation rang the bell. It was so cool to see. On Thursday we are going to have hot dog day, and I hope it is going to be yummy.

Hi my name is Alezandro. I am writing student newsletter this week. Tomorrow is Jump rope for luis and pink/red/white day. There was no school on Monday and on Tuesday we did FSA Wednesday also Thursday too. FSA on Wednesday we went to the computer lab to do an FSA quiz. On math my classmates and I are learn about fraction from Tuesday to Thursday, we also did our morning warm up. On Wednesday we went to music and had a fun time there. Wednesday wa the last day for the candy gram. We have music tomorrow right after recess. Tomorrow have a great and fun week also I know I will have a fun weekend!

Hello, my name is Samirah and I will be talking about our school and class. So let's get started. First lets talk about math we started fraction it is fun! The grade 4 are working on a FSA test it is for the goverment but it seems cool. In gym we are doing basketball. In social studies the grade 5 are working in goverment and the grade 4 are doing the native work. We are going to be starting science soon. I like science. In art we are doing elements of at we are in groups. I wonder what we will do after in art. In french we are doing another mystery we figured out what the last mystery was his name was Luc Tetu. In LA we are doing poums. In spelling we are doing basic things. Did you know that we got a new playground. Oh Ya it is the 2nd of February. We only have a few brthdays Holly and I. It is Valentine's Day on the 14. Oh and did I mention it is groundhog day today. I hope he saw his shadow. This is my newsletter I hope you enjoyed it. Bye! Have a great day!

Hi, my name is Kristien and I am going to talk about my school and what subject we are doing. At math we are about to do fractions in math we already did addition (of course) subtracting, multiplying and dividing. At social studies we are learning about the government and we learning the voters, Cabinet, the federal government and the candidate and we are so close to learn science. At gym we are doing basketball and learning the lay-up and we already did chest-passing and bounce passing and we played couple of games.

We have a new principal it is Ms. Kolbus and she love to talk a lot. We have a new playground in our school but they didn't change the swing and they removed the metal jungle gym. We are all done about the school and my student newsletter and this is about my school bye!!!

Hi I'm Ken. Today I'm going to do my newsletter. There have been some events happening in the past. Now I'll tell you what happened in the past. There was a long winter break that started on Dec 19, 2014 but the winter break ended on Jan. 5, 2015. Last 2 weeks we had twins day and popcorn day I've got to admit it was really fun! We are doing a poem about nature. Since I'm a grade 5 I learned about the government. There was a girl who came in are class to talk about Climate Change.

As you know if you read Jesse's Newsletter, There's events from this week like: remember the "Moo! crew" visit us last week and meet a real cow and a real cattle. Also, on January 8th I'm honored to say that we got the Golden Shoe, my friends. Okay, that's enough singing and don't froget at Friday it's Scouts About again!  And if you're not in Scouts, join Jumpstart. Jumpstart is the place for Gr.2 to 7. At Feb. 22 it's Popcorn Day!!! Yeah! Bring your loonies and toonies from your piggy bank, your wallet, your safe and your parent's change from the market. I sream, you sream, we all sream for Freah popped, yummy popcorn from Mrs. Satio's class. Don't froget it. 

Hi every one my name is Jesse, welcome back I hope you had a great holiday. Today we had assembly, it was about walking to school. We came the first in surrey and we got a golden shoe trophy. 

In math we were learning multiplication and division and now we are learning about division with remainders. We learned about government and parliament in social studies. Gym time is fun we are learning how to play basketball with Mr, Weaks. Yesterday we start learning how to write a poem. 

I read at home, I read WWE I'm on 75 days to read. 

Hello guys my name is Angelo. Today Im going to talk about our school. After lunch all the students in grade 1 o 7 will all meet at the gym for the annual Christmas concert. Parents and visitors came and watched. First we did act then we danced Dynamite. We all enjoyed and had fun. After school we played soccer on the gravel field, and then we won socred 12-0. The next day Thursday the grade 7 bend had a concert, they played Christmas songs. We Went to the gym for the secord assembly to receive Christmas gift from Relate Church. We an so excited. Each kid from the school had a pesents. On Friday grade 6-7 are dance and grade 4-5 are going to have a treasure hunt at the grass field. k1-3 are going to have a movie in the library also the grade 4-5 are going to watch a movie too and the CHRISTMAS BREAK YAEH!

Hi I'm Era. This week I'm doing the student newsletter. It's also the last week of school! The last week of school means lots of events like the Christmas concert on Dec 17th the studends of Hjorth Road are really exided for it. Other events that our happing in our class are the board game party, a treasure hunt and a movie with Mr. Weaks class! To tell you the truth I normally never watch movies! You should also start wrapping presents because Christmas is almost here! Now I tell you a bit more things about the events in our class. The board game party is kind of like freedom Friday. we will play board games for 30 minits of the day. The treasure hunt we will go outside and follow the clues to find treasure! The move is simpple we will watch a Christmas movie with Mr. Weaks class I'm not really sure of what movie we are watching yet. That's my student newsletter.
